Job description
1. Be the Smarter Risk Lab services point of contact and engagement manager for customers primarily in PRC but also elsewhere in the IOT and EMEA as required.
2. Be responsible for IBM risk lab based services business performance target and team utilization target.
3. Be responsible for liaising with customers in PRC to ensure their success related to the Smarter Risk implementations.
4. Be responsible for the contractual agreements related to engagements in PRC.
5. Implementing IBM Smarter Risk software solution within the clients systems with a main focus on the functionality of the software and the business processes of the customers.
6. Carrying out sales support and technical support activities.
7. May have overall project management role on larger assignments or project management across a number of assignments.
8. Supporting IBM’s Customers and partners after an implementation, assuring customer success
Practice Managers need to be multi-skilled and be able to cover a number of disciplines, notably:
1. Management ability:
Be able to support our customer base in PRC
Be a point of contact for Professional Services
Assist leading the Professional Services Team
Managing the customer base and IBM Risk partners in the Location related to Functional Ability;
Be familiar with the IBM Risk brand products in order to be able to talk with customer marketing resources to drive out business solutions.
Be aware of business roles and be able to advise of business process improvements and change
Being able to lead workshops and design sessions with business as well as technical customer representatives
Be willing to gain marketing domain knowledge (if such does not already exist)
2. Technical ability;
Be able to understand technical challenges related to the Risk brand products, implementing the software for our customers
Be able to carry out problem diagnosis
Understand and be able to explain the technical architecture of the risk brand products
3. Project Management
Be able to manage oneself on projects
Be able to advise customers on projects tasks, complexities and risk mitigation
Be able to manage multiple projects and advise customers on working with partners
Be able to scope items of work
Required Skills:
1. Leadership skills
2. Extensive Risk consulting experience.
3. Significant Financial Services Risk consulting experience
4. Project management
5. Knowledge of the Risk brand products
