POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to Global Marketing and Communications Manager, she/he will develop and implement integrated marketing communications campaigns aligned with the global business goals and priorities. This role will cover Asia regional marketing support based in China and also collaborate with global teams for global campaigns
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- In partnership with the product management and sales teams, develop and implement an integrated marketing communications programs that are aligned with overall growth objectives and Asia regional requirements, including Messaging & content development as well as localization.
- Online and offline communications channel selection and implementation with measurable results
- Event/tradeshow development and management.
- Literature development and management
- Sample kit development and management
- Utilize market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence and internal business plans to create and execute successful marketing communications programs to raise awareness and enhance customer experience.
- In collaboration with BU eBusiness and PR teams, develop strategies and execute a comprehensive web-based communications program
- Partner with sales and product management teams to create and ensure consistent positioning and messaging to support product launch/life circle.
- In collaboration with TE global channel business unit, define Asian focused product selections and promotion programs to drive channel rev. growth and customer awareness.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications professionals from corporate and other business units, jointly build company-wide marketing and communications consistencies and leverage shared strengths and resources whenever possible.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have minimum a BA/BS; MBA preferred
- 5-8 years of marketing communications, corporate communications and/or brand management experience in a global and/or technology or engineering focused company.
- Strong business acumen, knowledge of the customer, the competition and issues impacting business.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication abilities. A convincing communicator with compelling perspectives and ideas that challenge the ordinary.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with online marketing strategies and programs.
- An innovative thinker and creative problem solver, ability and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong inter-personal skills with proven track record of forging excellent relationships at multiple levels of an organization.
- Flexible, adaptable, open-minded, creative
- Ability to travel on a regional basis.
- Agency working experience is preferred.
