Job description
Business Transformation and Services (BT&S) team in IBM China Development Lab (CDL) belongs to IBM Cooperate Information Office (CIO). The BT&S team was built in 2003 with the goal to provide development services for IBM end-to-end process transformation, IT systems integration and application innovation across IBM. The team committed to build applications by leveraging leading-edge technology products and services to yield innovation that matters.
With 10 years' growth, the team has involved in the development of several key applications responsible for globalizing and simplify the web experience while increasing self-service capabilities for our clients; enabling seller and developer productivity through enhanced seller tools; automating business processes; and showcasing IBM technology.
BT&S team's priorities are focused on demonstrating the value of software business transformation, closing the gaps in capabilities to run the distributed and zSeries software business, enabling Partner programs and demonstrating an SOA framework on large-scale production.
BIDS(Business Intelligence Development Services) is a sub team of BT&S and we are supporting the IBM CIO value chain applications which created significant contribution to IBM business. The team focused on the design and implementation of IBM internal data warehouse, decision support system, sales performance management systems and marketing solution.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with the project chief architect to translate business requirements into application solution design based on popular products/technologies, such as MDM, DataStage, QualityStage, SOA and Web services, Java EE, Mobile, Social Media, Big data and Data Analytics, etc.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)
Skills requirement:
- Good experience in DataStage, QualityStage development
- Good knowledge of Big data and Data Analytics
- Good skill in Java, familiar SOA and Web services
- Good knowledge of MDM is preferred
- Prior application artchiture experience is preferred
- Knowledge in Mobile, Social Media is preferred
- Broaden knowledge and deep understanding of IT trends, keeping eyes on emerging technologies Personal Qualities
- Strong communication skill in both Chinese and English
- Good teamwork spirit
- Self-motivated and strong leadership
- Quick learner
- Creative thinking
