Enterprise Business Transformation Development(EBTD) team in IBM China Development Lab (CDL) belongs to IBM Cooperate Information Office (CIO). The EBTD team was built in 2003 with the goal to provide development services for IBM end-to-end process transformation, IT systems integration and application innovation across IBM. The team committed to build applications by leveraging leading-edge technology products and services to yield innovation that matters. With 10 years' growth, the team has involved in the development of several key applications responsible for globalizing and simplify the web experience while increasing self-service capabilities for our clients; enabling seller and developer productivity through enhanced seller tools; automating business processes; and showcasing IBM technology. EBTD team's priorities are focused on demonstrating the value of software business transformation.

IBM CDL DIAS (Data Integration & Analytics Services) team is a sub team of EBTD. We are participating in the data integration projects to support the business transformation of IBM Software Group. Such as, we enhanced the IBM Distributed Software application portfolio to support Software as a Service (SaaS) which is a new business model. Additionally, we are responsible for integrating data into IBM systems for acquisitions, such as Customer, Entitlement, etc.

Job Responsibilities

- Initialize, plan and maintain database platform/projects (DB2, AIX)

- Be responsible to deliver systems on time and quality.

- Ensure the smooth communication among the project members, interact with various teams to make sure the DB system is running with high availability and performance.

- Provide support to other initiatives as and when required.

Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)

Skills requirement:

- Strong skill of Database (DB2, Oracle) and corresponding project experiences, 2+ years of experience in Database maintenance, among which 1+ years on DB2 Enterprise edition (8.2 and newer version)

- Strong skill of Unix/Linux Knowledge and SHELL script programming, At least 2 years experience in AIX UNIX (Administrator, support, programming)

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;

Personal Qualities

- Strong communication skill

- Good teamwork spirit

- Self-motivated and strong leadership. Has experience of leading more than 5 persons team for at least 1 year

- Quick learner

- Creative thinking

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)

Bachelor or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Technical English

Excellent English speaking and writing skills
