JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Manager
REPORTS TO: GBS Finance Manager, APAC
LOCATION: Songjiang, Shanghai
Our client is a leading multinational company in the FMCG industry. To support the rapid business growth and strengthen financial support for capital investment needs, the company’s Asia Pacific share services team is recruiting the following position, Accounts Payable Manager. The primary focus of this position is to manage all accounts payable for the assigned function in the APAC area.
Main Responsibilities:
? Accounts Payable Management – oversee and manage the operation of accounts payable including handle supplier payment / issues / problems / queries.
? Expense Checking – ensure the accuracy of the expense charging and supplier records.
? Vendor Master Data – maintain vendor master data into SAP and SIT.
? VAT Input Tax – liaise with GBS Finance Manager on the VAT Input tax related matters.
? Payment – review payment planning and oversee promptly payment to suppliers. Approve
payments for both trade and sundry creditors.
? Staff and Salesman Claims – review and approve claims from associates in OA system.
? Reconciliation – liaise with Record to Reporting on reconciliation of system record against
supplier’s statement of account.
? Purchase Analysis – support Market Controller and product Supply Controller on analysis of
monthly expenses and comparison against budget.
? Reporting – ensure meeting deadlines for monthly accounts closing.
? Internal Control – review, set, and ensure proper internal control and process flow are in
place. Liaise with Internal Auditor on all PtP related audit review and issue. Review and update PtP policies to ensure it’s compliant with the company’s internal policies and/or best practices.
Qualifications / Experience:
? Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration
? At least 5-6 years working experience in managing Accounts Payable or related process
? Preferrably with SAP B1 experience and/or share service experience
? Good inter-personal skills and able to work under pressure
? English and Mandarin language proficiency in both writing and speaking
