Sourcing
Focus on agreed priority sourcing areas, identify and set up new suppliers to strengthen our supplier base and also supply the delivery of new projects
Develop and share knowledge of regional strengths and have it documented
Identify suppliers for development.

Supplier Assessment and Management
Initial risk assessment of suppliers and feedback to sourcing and quality teams
Support HK team to hold the QCLDM supplier performance review.

Product Development
Fully engaged in new product development and project delivery accordingly to the critical time plan
Samples pre-screening before sending to HK office
Support and take part in “During production check” on different stages if applicable
Work collaboratively with other functional team for issue resolution and project management
Facilitate communication between HK office and suppliers
Create offer and quote in Trade stone system (Guided by HK team)
Orders and shipments follow up

Requirements:

University Graduate
Min 3 years working experience with experience working in international buying office
Relevant sourcing/purchasing experience on household products.
Good command of spoken and written English
Good communication and presentation skills
Frequent travel in China is necessary
Commercial-orientated.
Good team player, able to work under pressure and take responsibilities
Strong analytic and negotiating skills are at advantage.
