SENIOR GARMENT TECHNICIAN - Woven/ Knits/ Sweater/ Outerwear/ Undergarments

Responsibility :

- Assist in the garments development in accordance with the strategic sourcing plan

- Fit, review sample and style details against PDM / sample specification and fit test

- Provide accurate measurement record and sample assessment comments to the PDM system

- Evaluate and give corrective action comments to vendor on sample fitting

- Provide technical support and advice to vendors and work closely with our US counterparts

- Review and ensure all corrective action as requested by NYO has been taken by vendors prior to pre-production sample approval

- Ensure continuity and maintain approval fit standards as per the NYO requirements

- Work with Merchandising teams to ensure on time sample submission and approval

Qualification :
- University graduate in Textile Technology / Fashion or related discipline
- 10 years or above relevant working experience

- Excellent product knowledge in SWEATER, while Woven/ Kints/ Sweater/ Outerwear or Under garment knowledge are also needed

- Good in both spoken and written English & Chinese with a minimum of 6 in CET
- Sound communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office and computerized office environment
- Previous working experience in US brand company preferable
