ACTIVITIES
-Ensure the Sales Supervisors and Sales Engineers follow and meet the standard of HSE
-Assist National Sales Director to optimize, monitor the sales management system and tools to improve the sales effectiveness and efficiency in each level
-Based on the market knowledge and network, bring up the proper market intelligence information in time to help the management to setup policies which meet the market needs and advantaged among competitors
-Guide the sales team to achieve sales target by respecting company's strategy, product mix, sales guideline and code of conduct.
-Control special price applications in the team to ensure the profit level
-Supervise the local budget planning and the effectiveness of actual expenses
-Maintain a healthy network structure in the region and assist Sales Supervisor re-structure if needed be
-Coordinate with other department to ensure sale growth and effective operation for the management's sakes and customer's satisfaction.
-Organize periodic sales meeting to ensure an effective communication among the team in terms of latest company strategies, policies and market move
-Guide Sales Supervisors in their daily work, organize or deliver training, co-visit to enhance their efficiency and competency level
-Responsible for the stability of the team and individual career development
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
75% of the Chinese market is occupied by the major national players and local brands, the other foreign major players such as Shell, BP, ExxonMobil entered the market years earlier than TOTAL and won a higher brand awareness all over China.
In the recent years, TOTAL lubricants is developing fast with a balanced structure (50% auto lubricants and 50% industrial lubricants), the company has a clear sales and marketing strategy with focus provinces, focus products, focus industries and focus distributors. However the yearly target is still challenging, same as the long term target
ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales target.
-Structure the distributor network and ensure a good cooperation among the company, distribution and retailers
-Enhance the brand awareness in the responsible region
-Train up the potential sales members , prepare for the succession plan and individual career development
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-Bachelor degree in business administration, marketing, mechanical or chemical engineering
-At least 10 years in sales & marketing in multinational company with minimum 5 years experience in managerial role
-Rich experience in distributor management, knowledge of lubricants will be plus
-Fluent in both English and Chinese
