职位描述
* Assists in defining and communicating the goals, objectives, policies and plans of the business.
* Develops Quality Assurance program, including policies, objectives, plans, etc., and assures the documentation of the program and its distribution to department and management personnel, promoting the proper concept of the quality assurance program to achieve the goals of the business.
* Develops a sound organizational structure for the performance of all phases of the quality assurance department activities.
* Establishes appropriate sub-functional components, staffed with qualified and competent personnel.
* Instructs, advises, counsels, and reviews the performance of these subordinates.
* Advises each person in the department of his/her responsibilities, authority, and accountability, and promotes individual development and department teamwork.
* Establishes standards for measuring the performance of department personnel, and inform them of their progress.
* Analyzes and appraises the progress of the department as measured against the established objectives set up.
* Provides for adequate facilities and equipment necessary for inspecting, testing, and measuring the quality of products, and for the most economical maintenance of such equipment and facilities.
* Provides all appropriate personnel of the business with programs designed to promote the spirit of quality thinking throughout the department, and to encourage participation of Quality Assurance personnel in educational courses which will keep them informed of the newest developments in quality assurance.
* Reviews investigations of new or revised changes with Product Engineering, obtaining required technical information from Product Engineering as necessary.
* Develops training programs for all manufacturing and supervisory personnel by informing them of available training programs and organizing series of subjects to be taught in an effective and productive learning program by an effective team of instructors with a minimum of interruptions to the manufacturing schedule.
* Measure the effectiveness of each training course, and the effectiveness of each instructor.
