Job Description:
Responsible for Lean Six Sigma ramp up at Suzhou Site
― Business impact
· Accelerating the delivery of sustainable, quantifiable and translatable business results through a project management based culture. Responsibility lies in assigned productivity KPI targets
· Responsible for Driving X # Kaizens and ITO’s to deliver immediate results.
· Helping create a culture where LSS becomes ingrained and people want to get involved. Pull vs. Push.
― LSS and Project Management Capability Building
· Assisting in creating a culture centered around structured thinking and a data driven results oriented WOW through Lean Six Sigma and Project Management capabilities.
· Mentor Green Belt Candidates to achieve critical mass so that the methodology and way of thinking becomes embedded in the DNA.
― Recognition
· Accountable for KPI # of Green Belts Certified – Business Results
· Accountable for assigned Productivity KPI – Business Results
· Additional Awards
Educate, advise, mentor, and guide existing and new Green Belts to achieve the best possible implementation of Lean Six Sigma and business outcomes.
Mentor Green Belts and Project Managers in the use of Project Management tools and Six Sigma tools and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected results.
Serve as technical expert on Lean Six Sigma and Project Management
Understand and practice Change Management; helping to guide Suzhou through the change necessary to effectively adopt Lean Six Sigma as a management tool.
Responsible for the KPI’s related to the selection, facilitation and execution of strategically aligned AWO workshops and Rapid Improvement Events.
Accountable for assigned KPI target under Suzhou Productivity
Work with PM’s to accelerate execution of committed to projects.
Assist in workshops or brainstorming sessions to define funnel of new projects.
Proactive ongoing assessment of projects to insure targets will be met. Recommendations on rebalancing of projects to the head of E&E when needed.
Represent their functional area on the Efficiency & Effectiveness Staff Meetings when needed to report out status of progress to KPI’s.
Oversee Team of Green Belts and Project Managers insuring that Productivity KPI’s are being met and projects are being executed as planned.
Establish program master plan and milestones and monitor adherence to master plan and schedules. Every Black Belt should have a very clear view of all projects in their portfolio.
Identify program/project issues and provides leadership in developing solutions such as re-allocation of resources or modification of portfolio.
Identification of Risk’s identified with mitigations planned. Escalate when needed to the Head of E&E when management support is needed.

Qualifications Required:
BS degree or higher
5+ years of Six Sigma and Project Management.
Black Belt Certification required.
PMI or other project management certification preferred
Demonstrated results and application of Lean Six Sigma.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects to completion maintaining the triple constraint.
Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to deal in a high pressure environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
