Responsibilities:

• Integration of PUMA’s Sustainability/ Ecology strategy into Sourcing practices within the Apparel Supply Chain
• Implementation and management of Environmental KPI data reporting as part of the Apparel Supply Chain
• Cooperation with PUMA suppliers to achieve reductions in Energy, Water, Waste and Carbon Footprint
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement projects with suppliers towards environmental friendly production
• Coordinate or support Sustainability Ecology projects internally and with external partners from development to realization, for example:
  1.PUMA and Supplier Sustainability Reporting
  2.Environmental Capacity Building Projects such as SAVE
  3.PUMA S-Index for Apparel products
  
• Analysis of Environmental Footprint for Apparel products and supply chain:
  1.Support the PUMA Environmental Profit & Loss Analysis

2.Implementation of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition Higg-Index within the Apparel Supply Chain

• Facilitate innovation and development of more sustainable materials and products
• Representation of PUMA at sustainability conferences, industry wide sustainability initiative meetings, etc.
• Increase Supply Chain Transparency and Integration
• Improve awareness and collaboration with internal and external partners about Sustainability Ecology

Qualification/ Requirements

Degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or similar

At least three years experience in the apparel, footwear or other consumer goods industry within the field of sustainability or comparable position

Very good English skills

Chinese language skills

Enthusiasm for working on sustainability topics in an intercultural team and on a global level

Experience in Life Cycle Assessment would be beneficial
