POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Company's retail channel management and new retail channel development
• Ensure that the channel team fully supports and enables the Division's commercial strategies.
• Work closely with Supply Chain to create a robust strategy for capacity, both short and long term.
• Position Corning to be perceived by channels as a problem solver, trusted advisor, and strategic partner.
• Assess the overall cost of sales of each channel to ensure that resources are optimally allocated to align with the opportunities that are available.
• Collect market, customer, and competitor intelligence and insights and disseminates this knowledge across the division.
• Collect sales information with the channel to inform short-term and long-term sales forecasting at the channel and division level.
• Central collection and communication point for the report-outs from each regional channel manager

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. Above bachelor degree.
2. Experience of supervising with staffs.
3. 10+ years of experience in sales or channel management within the Tire industry, with at least 5 years experience working with channel management and development
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
5. A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative;
6. Excellent organizational skills;
7. Ability of Coaching Skills
8. Work independently without direct supervision
9. Understanding of how to channel development and implement business strategies
10. Understanding about behavior and culture of district
11. Ability to work well with all levels of management, executive leadership and support staff
12. Problem-solving and conflict management
13. The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, whilst paying attention to detail;
14. Influencing and negotiation skills;
15. Commercial awareness;
16. A willingness to learn;
17. Ability to handle multi-tasking environment, and work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
