职位描述
Major Responsibility
1. Work with suppliers to assure excellent product quality and delivery to the internal U.S. customers;
2. Work on supplier corrective action report, and ensuring the corrective action executive at supplier plants;
3. Investigate, trouble shooting with suppliers and/or the internal U.S. customers, and support the work-in process problem resolutions;
4. Perform regular supplier audit with finding issue tracking;
5. Non-compliance products verification and handling;
6. Supplier quality status statistical & analysis & tracking;
7. Drive continuous improvement on supplier quality;
8. Work proactively with the HNI Asia Test Lab team for product/sample testing and proactively follow up on results;
9. Provide Quality knowledge and system Training to supplier and support them to complete their quality system;
10. Put efforts on reducing on customer complain;
11. Perform any other responsibilities and/or tasks which the reporting supervisor assigns.
Requirements
1.College graduate in engineering or with equivalent engineering training qualifications or related working experiences;
2.At least 3 years' working experience work in Manufacturing environment, Product Development or project engineering;
3. Excellent command of English and Chinese languages;
4. Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills for dealing with the internal U.S. customers, local team members and suppliers;
5. Proactive, organized, detail-oriented and responsible working attitude; and able to prioritize work, lead change, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and meet deadlines;
6. Good skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
7. Ability to read standard engineering drawing marks with GD&T note
8. Full understanding of AQL sampling plan, on-site operating inspection tools and gauges is a plus;
9. Familiar with furniture industry, and understand BIFMA standard;
10. Be seasoned with frequently traveling;
11. Basic knowledge of SPC, quality basic 7 tools; lean production, TQC/TQM is a plus;
12. Familiar with more than one kind product knowledge and industry standard as wood, metal, plastic, stone, leather, etc is a plus;
13. Familiar with more than one kind process as die-casting, molding, stamping, plastic injection, assembling, etc is a plus;
14. ISO qualified & certified is a plus
