Brand Developer at Weekday
Weekday is a progressive retail store concept, offering jeans and fashion-forward design from brands and designers such as MTWTFSS Weekday, Cheap Monday, MTWTFSS Weekday Collection, BACK etc. http://shop.weekday.com/
The Brand Developer is accountable for
?Optimizing the material process and methods
?Drive market capability development
?Secure the look and feeling of the concept in Production Offices
Main Responsibilities
Material:
Owner of the material bookings, sample yardage and STOCK materials through the season
Identify Top materials for Production office (PO)/Brand/Construction, to book for Bulk Production.
Give S/Y indications per PO/Brand/Construction and get confirmed booking list with in season updates
Update the material / sample y/d bookings per Block.
Execute more Consolidations with H&M together with material and fabric team, work pro-actively before season and in season with bookings.
Increase our understanding and hit rate of Sample Lead time and improve our communication and demands to BO and PO.
Analysis:
Work closely with Purchasing Responsible to constantly analyze all input and do in season updates to reach goals
Evaluation after each Block and season.
Market capability development:
Capability Missions to be set before or during the season together with Business Controller and Purchasing Responsible, with a set deadline.
Working close with Production Office Developer/technician in PO, guide and support to achieve the best product as what the customer expect.
Secure the look and feeling of the concept:
Work closely with PO with market developments and with China PO with Fashion Speed Orders to achieve the right product with the right look
Initiate and drive workshops in PO to secure the right look and feeling of the concept.
Support PR and PO when we have issues with the look and the feeling of the concept.
Buying Office contact:
Understand Material and components believes from Buying Office before season and Block and drive the sourcing process with help from Material team and Innovation team.
