Client:

The client is a German Auto Components Tier-1 Supplier.

Salary:

Reporting to:

Purchasing Manager

Recruitment process:

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:

+ Evaluate new sourcing project, component drawings and engineering requirements and identify sourcing opportunities
+ Actively participate new business quotations to OEMs, work with commodity buyer to get the competitive prices
+ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure and manage all new souring project launch activities compliant with schedule and budget and report status to program management team
+ Evaluate process and procedures within purchasing and recommend improvements

Requirements:

+ Bachelor degree in Purchasing / Engineering / Technology or Commercial subject
+ 3 to 5 years’ experience within purchasing or related function
+ Basic understanding of 2D drawings and mechanical / hydraulic components
+ General understanding of commercial, contract law and business practices in China
+ Familiar with supplier development and quality management tools such as; APQP, PPAP, problem analysis tools etc…
+ Fluent in English and Chinese
