ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Recruitment process:

Responsibilities:

> The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the following departments:
+ Controlling and Administration
+ Logistics
+ Back office

> Key goals of this position are:
+ Provide Region Head the proper business infrastructure and support in order to increase the focus on business development in larger growing areas of the world
+ Ensure legal compliance in respect of local laws and Group rules
+ Maximize the efficiencies in the organization
+ Secure the right service level and productivity of the covered functions
+ Contribute to the ongoing management of a robust sales and operations planning process (S&OP)
+ Work and grow relationships with other departments to better serve the supply chain and operational needs

> Strategy Implementation:
+ Establish strategic goals and objectives to ensure sites business, operational and financial objectives are aligned with company\'s commercial strategies
+ Translate performance goals and objectives into practical operational solutions by identifying and implementing operational opportunities to continually make improvements

> Innovation:
+ Leads initiatives to drive continual improvement in supply chain processes by identifying issues, anticipating needs and developing long term solutions
+ Identify and realize synergies within the organization and, if possible, using the Group functions;

> Financial Management:
+ Analysis of the sales performances, proposing and implementing necessary actions to develop and improve the business, in accordance with strategic direction for the Region
+ Actively identify and secure the implementation of the action to improve the financial performance of the operation
+ Ensure the highest service level keeping optimal cost structure
+ Control and compliance with local laws, Group and Sector standards and policies

> Organizational Support:
+ Effectively support the Sales organization in order to maximize the customer satisfaction;
+ Drive accountability, discipline and continuous improvement across the organization with a business process framework, robust knowledge management system, governance and tools
+ Work with Marketing, Sales and Service to fully understand proposed fiscal year plans and implications.

> Team Management:
+ Build a high performance culture that promotes engagement, teamwork, accountability and a winning spirit
+ Manage performance and development of direct reports to achieve organizational and department goals and provide a work environment that encourages learning and growth
+ Guarantee the correct competence level of the managed units;

> Reporting:
+ Ensure systematic flow of information between the region organization and the Headquarter


Requirements:

+ Degree in Economics / Business Admin. or equivalent working experience;
+ At least 10 years of working in business management;
+ Strong controlling background;
+ Proven leadership capabilities: particularly a strong ability to influence and convince others;
+ Strong self-motivational skills;
+ Good understanding of the overall business processes ( operations, sales, business segments , marketing)
+ Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly grasp and analyse key business parameters of large, geographically spread, complex data
+ Business understanding and process knowledge
+ Specific industry knowledge will be an asset
+ Analytical, with attention to detail
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Experience in the use of ERP systems is required: JDE or SAP preferred
+ Business exposure in the region
+ Availability to travel in the region
+ Able to work cross levels and organizations
+ Strong networking and influencing skills
+ Enterprise/broad operational view and organizational navigation skills
+ Proven analytical skills; data-driven and detail-oriented
+ Competitive, winning attitude with a focus on results
+ Strong interpersonal skills and team player
+ Highly organized; capable of multitasking across multiple projects
+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills
+ Effective operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

+ Knowledge of commercial Food Service business
+ Understanding of commercial pressures and business drivers
+ Experience in finance, logistics and back office functions
