The client is a German automotive components manufacturer.

Plant Manager

Travelling:

Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:
+ To manage and control performance of quality assurance according to company's objectives (quality forecasting, measures concerning quality requirements and quality costs), with incoming material and components, machining, assembly and finishing processes
+ To establish, maintain and improve the quality system of ISO9001 and 9004 continually according to the standard of ISO9001 and 9004 quality system and the requirement of head office and ESMC
+ To act as the management representative for all external audits pertaining to related quality system such as ISO9001, 9004 and customer’s audit
+ To implement quality planning including all quality assurance measures for quality improvement, checking measures effectiveness, initiating corrections and writing quality check reports and developing plans for incoming and outgoing product quality control
+ To support all functions concerning quality queries and quality methods
+ To train, support, evaluate and develop the quality staff regarding quality management topics and techniques in order to provide the unit with the competencies and performance needed

Requirements:
+ Bachelor or higher, major in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or related discipline
+ Above 5 years of quality management experience in a firm with mechanical engineering and construction
+ Understanding of mechanical machining (conventional and CNC) and assembly processes, or related
+ Knowledge of international and European QM regulations
+ Proficiency in the application and implementation of ISO9001 and 9004 is a plus
+ Knowledge of European and international standards for quality and construction applications
+ Experience with Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA)
+ Knowledge of certification procedures and processes
+ Knowledge of final client and 3rd party approvals
+ Fluent in English and Chinese (both spoken and written)
