The client is an American Automotive Components manufacturer.

Reporting to:

AP Supplier Quality Director and General Manager

Travelling:

Upon work requirements

Recruitment process:

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:

+ Plan and manage headcounts and budget for structural cost to the best business needs

+ Motivate and engage SQ team to meet internal customers satisfaction

+ Develop and execution of SQ training and talents development

+ Transfer GM global SQ process to China/JV organization

+ Execution business strategy at SQ team and SQ business plan

+ Maintain and improve quality performance and ensure successful program launches through implementation of GM SQ processes & procedures (APQP, PPAP, GP9, QSB etc.)

+ Conduct supplier communications, trainings and workshops to develop HT suppliers

+ Improve the suppliers’ basic competitiveness assess suppliers by GM purchasing standards

+ Regularly participate the EXCOM/CPIT meetings and closely follow up on action items

+ Regularly updates SQ metrics and program status per requests by GM China/GMIO/GM global/JV

Requirements:

+ Knowledge of purchasing, supplier quality and supply chain practices and procedures

+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material flow

+ At least 5 - 10 years working experience SQ field in automotive company

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or technical-related field

+ Supplier development, plant floor, and / or quality experience

+ Demonstrate highest level of integrity and trust, strong personal capabilities with strong business acumen

+ Customer focused and drive for results.
+ Strong interpersonal skills (motivating the team, developing direct reports and building effective teams)

+ Demonstrate medium level above for Leading Change

+ Demonstrate working under high pressure and dealing with ambiguity
