Job Description
Responsible for classifying Flextronics commodities, software, and technology with Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) according to the US Bureau of Industry and Security’s Commerce Control List (CCL).
Responsible for classifying Flextronics commodities, software, and technology with Harmonized Tariff System Numbers (HTS).
Respond and maintain classification requests via the Classification Manager web tool, and complete classifications assigned by the Site Classification Coordinator.
Classification Analyst is expected to work independently with some assistance.
Responsible for ensuring legal compliance within government rules and regulations pertaining to classification.
Ability to research discrepancies and provide substantiation to support classification claims in a timely manner.
Resolve classification disputes, request formal classification requests and rulings whenever necessary as well as assist site classifier/TCC with basic classification questions.
Supporting and work with site managers in overseeing their respective sites are adhering to all corporate policies and procedures and assist or support site managers with site assessment issues as needed.
Provide consultation & support to sites for cases/issues solving in daily operation.


Job Requirements
College graduation and above, with electronic engineering related major.
Moderate technical hardware and/or software familiarity desirable.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and apply to classification decision determination.
Strong communication skill in mandarin.
At least 3 years' work experience in international companies.
Integrity and responsibility in job.
Be familiar with trade compliance requirements.
Proficient in office software Excel, Word, Power-point etc.
Proficient in English: Read & Write.
Experience in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Baan is preferred.
