Online Marketing Content & Activation Manager
Philips Automotive Lighting is a global entity, selling Automotive related solutions to car manufacturers (B2B) and consumers (B2C). The consumer part is defined as After Market and is mainly driven by automotive lamps and mobility products. Mobility products are newly developed products which can be closely related to consumer electronic devices.
The B2C After Market is growing fast and online is becoming more and more important, especially for the Mobility products, where premium content and activation are key. As part of the online growth objectives in China and Rest of Asia the online content & activation manager will play an important part to set this up structurally for the Chinese online channels. He/she will be responsible for developing, implementing and measuring strategic integrated marketing campaigns. Working as part of the China marketing team, reporting to the overall Aftermarket Marketing Manager.
Key Area Responsibilities:
· Together with Regional- and Local Marketing Manager, develop and determine key activation strategy to drive preference and build overall Mobility brand equity
· Manage all online components of integrated marketing programs, from campaign development, implementation and measurement.
· Develop structural annual online promotion calendar
· Develop tailor made activation strategies for top of Chinese e-tailers, including elements like advertising, PR, search engine optimization, keyword-tactics, etc.
· Explore new media, new trends in consumer activations
· Manage, Measure & Evaluate external agencies performance
· Manage the social media strategy, consumer reviews and bloggers
· Monitor and measure ROI of activities
· Work closely with Sales team to ensure best in market execution at focused e-tailers and online distributors.
· Work with publications, organizations, and influencers to setup co-marketing or banner-ad campaigns.
Job Requirements:
· Have at least 3 years of experience in consumer (electronic) focused companies involved in sales, marketing, or business development roles.
· Understand different stages of the online marketing and sales funnel, conversion rates, and lead scoring process.
· Be very web oriented and passionate about smartphone and social media usage, but at the same believe in the power of face-to-face meetings to build connections with customers and deliver effective education to sales & marketing colleagues.
· Have a proven track record in effective usage of SEO/SEM and understanding all corners of Search Engine Analytics (e.g. Baidu, Adwords).
Have basic HTML knowledge but basic scripting language knowledge is a bonus.
· Have amazing analytical mind mixed in with fantastic written and verbal communication skills. You can basically see graphs and numbers, and instantly create an effective report outlining problems or opportunities.
· Be eager and enjoy an environment where collaboration, honesty, and transparency are highly valued.
· Never be satisfied with status quo and always think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to challenging problems.
· Direct line reporting to China Marketing manager, Functional reporting to Regional Mobility Marketing manager.
