Key Responsibilities
Management
? Provide clear direction and lead premier sales activities in the commercial office through the establishment and execution of a solid CO-level Sales Strategy Plan
? Provide constructive suggestions to the Damco South China strategies, objectives and all key elements
? Develop recommendation for CO Damco business plan, budgets and targets to the Shenzhen CO manager supporting product specific profitability and ensuring alignment with Damco NAS strategy
? As member of the Damco South China CO management group, contribute with
? Candid, direct and honest input, suggestions and feedback to commercial development decisions
? Development of strategies, objectives, etc for Dongguan commercial team.
? Growing and maintaining a strong team spirit in the management team
? Based on a continuous improvement principle ensure a constant development of sales, with support from branch management team.
? Provide strong leadership to commercial forces.
Human Resources
? Build a strong commercial team by recruiting, developing and retaining commercial talents, as required by business.
? Recommend appointments and dismissals of own direct reports.
? Organise, coach, challenge, develop and remunerate all direct reports
? Create development plans for all direct reports in the field sales.
? Ensure high performers and top talents are sufficiently recognized and rewarded - psychologically and financially.
Sales
? Executive commercial strategy in South China.
? Support Canter and NAS commmercial strategy and provide improvement proposals to same on a running basis.
? Drive the sales pipeline for the CO and the development areas
? Ensure CO commercial targets are met through a robust sales plan, SMART target setting and sales resources.
? Lead and develop a resourceful and strong commercial team to deliver targets
? Promote and market the Damco brand.
? Actively develop localized commercial resources making it a competitive advantage towards our international competition.
? Provide regular updates on CO market conditions and provide anticipated developments for same in order to support proactive market approach.
? Actively provide sales leadership to ensure synergies and successes are achieved and reported to Shenzhen CO manager.
? Ensure the sales related data quality in CRM.
? Ensure commercial team are performing complying with company guidelines.
? Monitor the sales performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
Business Development
? Identify potential, out of the box, Supply Chain Solutions with customers and develop colleagues to understand BD Engineering philosophy.
? Develop and maintain a personal Pipeline of customer Opportunities, as reflected within the CRM.
? Proactively initiate the better logistics solutions for customers to achieve better logistics efficiency with less cost.
Who we are looking for
? Bachelor degree or above.
? 5 years or above on sales or commercial related working experience.
? Adequate experiences and knowledge on local forwarding market.
? Experienced management skills, especially on sales team management.
? Structured and result oriented approach to sales and sales strategy development.
? Experienced in working with customers to identify and understand needs/opportunities, and work with subsequent development.
? Detailed understanding of current commercial and operational capabilities
? English – professional level in both oral and written.
? Innovative.
? Global view and sense.
? Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Management
