FUNCTION: Training / Learning & Development
# DIRECT REPORTS: 1
REPORTS TO: China HR Director
Our client is a multinational production automation organization with global operations. With their aggressive strategies and expansion plans for the China, Greater China, and Asia Pacific markets, they are currently looking for a seasoned training manager to take up responsibilities for developing learning and training requirements of the China operations. Reporting to the China HR Director and dotted line to the Global Training Manager in Europe this individual will develop and refine learning and training programs that deliver positive impact on the company’s performance in the region.
Responsibilities
? Act as Learning Relationship Manager supporting Global Functions and local management;
? Manage global training initiative to meet the set deadline and criteria;
? Monitor mandatory Learning completion and intervene as appropriate;
? Partner with multiple Business Units and Central Functions to manage Learning requirements of the functions and plan the content to meet these requirements;
? Create and execute annual master training plan, and relevant budget;
? Provide strategic advice on learning related matters associated with business strategic and operational implementation;
? Design, and deliver if necessary, the training courses to various audiences in the organization;
? Draw on the Learning curriculum architecture and prioritize against business needs;
? Act as subject matter expert for relevant Academy/consulting firms;
? Work in collaboration with the BUs, HRBPs to drive and implement initiatives as required;
? Provide coaching and/or training delivery in the relevant area across China
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree minimum;
- 10+ working experience in training;
- Capable of assessing the training needs of entire organization, and then create respective programs to meet the needs. Not just a coordinator between internal managers and external program vendor, but a professional maker;
- Experienced in delivery of the program, preferably from consulting firm;
- Good facilitation skills;
- Expert on training process including but not limited to needs analysis, design (macro-micro, preferable an instructional designer), governance of the delivery, evaluation;
- Leadership and managerial skills;
- Fluent English and Chinese.
