General Manager – Automotive/Commercial Vehicles – Location near Shanghai

Your tasks:
- Responsible for the departments: Purchasing, Production, Sales, Marketing, Inspection, Finance, Administration
- Strategic development of the company
- Developing the growth strategies with focus on existing and new commercial vehicle customers on the Chinese market
- Identification and developing the new business areas and markets in China in the commercial vehicle environment
- Monitoring the development of market and industry as well as recommendations for action and optimization
- Ensuring the highest customer satisfaction and taking care of the relationship with the existing customers
- Establishing the contacts to potential customers on management level and supporting the sales staff in the process of new business development
- Solving the technical problems at the customers
- Reporting to BU Management located in Europe and frequent exchange of information with the management team within the company

Your profile:
- Bachelor/Master degree in business or engineering, preferably with MBA
- At least 5 years of working experience as General Manager or Managing Director in industrial or automotive area
- Excellent knowledge of the commercial vehicle business and customers
- Good network in China
- Highly target and sales oriented with consulting mind, ability to close deals independently
- Concept selling of solution services, which require cross-functional know-how at a strategic level
- Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills
- Work experience in an international business environment, preferably for European or American companies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Chinese as mother language, fluent in English spoken and written, German a plus
- Able to work independently and travel in China, Asia and Europe
- Self motivated, highly customer and result orientated, systematic work
