职位描述
Job Summary: To manage the warehouse operations in Chong Qing distribution centre
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day to day warehousing operations
2. Familiar with the local market of warehousing and prepare market intelligence reports regularly
3. Set KPI for the operation team and ensure these KPIs can be achieved by the team
4. Ensure productivity measures in the operation are accurately recorded
5. Ensure all SOP’s are reviewed on a rolling basis and SOP documentation reflects activity in the operation process
6. Help the customers to instill a Continuous Improvement mindset in operation team
7. Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements, to ensure safety to staff, the community and the environment
8. Conduct regular checks and inspections of workplace equipment and facilities to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness, maintenance, housekeeping, and hazard identification and rectification are maintained
9. Develop and maintain a professional and motivated employee team by conducting daily, weekly and monthly communication and regular counseling activities. Apply effective team building and leadership techniques.
10. Actively support, implement and participate in any strategic developments identified by senior managers.
11. Conduct regularly scheduled liaison with customers to review and interpret operation productivity levels
12. Develop and maintain excellent customer relations
13. Assist in the preparation of budgets for administrative and distribution activities
14. Make decisions and give instructions on operational issues
15. Effectively and efficiently explain and take action with regard to any issues raised by both internal and external customers
Requirements:
-College degree or above in Logistics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent
-Minimum 5 years experience in logistic industry (3PL is preferred), with the focus on the warehousing and transportation operation.
-Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, t and PowerPoint
-Proven communication, facilitation, consulting and interpersonal skills
-Good financial analysis ability
-Good Reading English
-Warehousing and transportation operation knowledge
-White appliance production industry background is preferred
-Strong warehouse and transportation solution knowledge
-Solid Environmental, Health and Safety knowledge
-Solid project management knowledge
