Job Description: This role serves as a technical advocate for strategic client accounts using IBM PureApplication System (PureAS). To be successful, the candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual with strong problem determination skills and the ability to independently drive issues to resolution. They will also need to effectively communicate with clients and collaborate with peer groups across the IBM organization. In addition to the direct customer-facing and remote responsibilities, the ideal candidate will be able to identify client specific needs and challenges and provide solutions in a manner that makes our service essential. They will play critical role enabling the client to rapid adoption and time to value, ensuring best practices within a mainstream solution, launch and accelerate the flexible appliance time to deployment, and promote sustained satisfaction with PureApplication System.
The candidate will provide support and guidance to PureAS clients, development and operational teams; turning high complexity into simple solutions. This includes managing open technical issues, using architectural knowledge and problem determination skills to form a liaison between the client and IBM. The TAM will ensure successful deployments via education and best practice, discussions on future content and product direction. Clients and IBM will execute under this guidance.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years?experience in Technical Customer Facing and Relationship Management
At least 2 years?experience with IBM middleware - WebSphere Application
At least 1 years?experience in Unix Operating Systems
Preferred
At least 1 years?experience with IBM Workload Deployer or PureAS
At least 1 years?experience in Project and Crisis Management
At least 1 year experience with IBM Middleware products such as DB2, MQ, MB, BPM, WAS XD and/or WebSphere Portal
At least 2 years?experience in Linux and/or Power Systems
Experience in Enterprise Server hardware such PureFlex or Blade Center, IBM Storage , network design and management, cloud creation or development is welcome
Experience with python and shell scripting to do administrative tasks on IBM middleware - WebSphere Application Server, XD, Extreme Scale, BPM, Portal
