Responsibilities:
*Develop and gain approval of quality strategies based on Private Brand architecture
*Develop and directs prevention-based strategies, policies, processes, training and technology systems across all partners to achieve full compliance with all applicable laws/regulations, and delivery of safe product to minimize financial and public relations exposure to the company
*Develops and implements quality strategies for new product categories, environmental initiatives, and regulatory issues
*Develops and directs process to provide a competitive advantage and maximizes each brand experience with the customers
*Support the brands in meeting customer expectations with respect to product quality by benchmarking and comparison testing processes.
*Directs all aspects of 3rd party product testing firms including: negotiation of fee and service contracts, establishing testing protocols for a diverse line of product categories.
*Interfaces with Public relations, legal department, and risk management relating to liability issues and exposure
*Directs and manages continuous quality program to improve quality-related processes throughout the product lifecycle from new product development through sourcing and production
*Publish and maintains quality assurance manual, and is responsible for training for its contents.
*Analyses customer complaints, damage and effective rates and quality recalls. Manage quality related recalls and crisis management
*Develops, communicates and maintains factory scorecard which will measure the frequency of quality infractions by SKU.
*Directs and develops training and education of quality assurance to all departments of the company, vendors, testing partners and buying agents.
*Manage a team consisted Quality Assurance, Factory Audit.

Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or Science
*10+ years working experience in quality area, min. 5 year working experience in quality control and testing processes. Global Sourcing experience a plus.
*Knowledge of international trade requirements, environmental policy, intellectual property rights, and international compliance processes.
*Ability to manage strategic, tactical and operational business activity
*Ability to manage third party partners.
*Skill in managing concurrent projects in different countries with emphasis on US. Europe and Asia.
*Leadership skills, including interpersonal, communication and conflict management.
*Ability to manage a growing, dispersed, multinational workgroup
*Ability to interface with director level leaders in formal and informal situations
*Excellent command of English
