Job Objective: In the International Sourcing Technical & Project team, provide technical support to international investment projects (installation of new line or machines); coordinate technical points with Saint-Gobain Sekurit worldwide plants and local suppliers to define plant needs, ensure correct drawings from supplier, and other documentation conformity with SGS standard specification.

Job Responsibilities:

-Identify technical requirement with SGSX worldwide plants, prepare draft layout and elaborate technical specification;

-Check suppliers’ technical proposal whether corresponding to our request

-In project execution phase, check and validate suppliers’ assembly drawings from mechanical design point of view

-Make accurate layout by Integrating different suppliers’ drawings

-Be able to make 3D drawings for machinery

-Control the quality of suppliers’ documentation such as operation manual, maintenance manual (clear explanation, same as built, on time upgrade…)

-Propose technical innovations & upgraded modification to improve continuously the machines’ performances.

Job Requirements :

- Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical

- Language: Fluent spoken and written English

- Computer skill: MS office (mandatory)， AutoCAD (mandatory)，3D Software

- Work experience : >5 years in Engineering or Mechanical design

- Others to be specified:

Good knowledge of manufacturing and engineering

Experience in mechanical design is mandatory

Mobility: Frequent business trip in China / Foreign countries (short stay)

Knowledge about glass process is preferable (not mandatory)
