Responsibilities :

· Conducts a wide range of test procedures on sample equipment to the applicable standards and interprets results of the test. Determines which tests are required; the order in which to perform tests and the number of samples required. Performs tests and calculations, compiles data and summarizes test results into test reports and checklists. Verifies calculations are consistent with results of measurements. Determines whether product passes or fails subject to review by testing engineer.

· Assembles and disassembles test samples, hooks-up laboratory test equipment in preparation for testing; operates most laboratory test equipment without supervision.

· Design testing device, testing fixture or customized equipment including mechanical test, hydraulic test and cyclic testing etc per testing protocol requirement or specific customer requirement.

· Maintains good housekeeping of tools, equipment and work area following tests and carry out assigned laboratory clean-up duties.

· Manage the machinery workshop for lab testing setup and device manufacturing, and responsible for machinery equipments such as grinding machine, cutting machine and lathe maintenance and upgrading.

· May make field trips and assist in work outside the laboratory as required.

· Conduct root cause analysis on lab testing findings, and verify and approve corrective action from manufacturer.

· Locate the appropriate equipment suppliers and testing material supplier, and purchase required equipment component, accessories and material to support lab engineer testing in timely manner.

· Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirement:

· Associates degree in mechanical or material Engineering Technology

· Good command of English both reading and writing

· 5-8 years related experience
