Human Resource Director
Main Responsibility
- Effective lead and manage HR responsibilities including recruiting and staffing; compensation and benefits administration; performance management and improvement systems; employee orientation, development, and training;
- Act as an advisor to overall HR management, provide guidance and direction related to all staffing programs in support of strategic business goals and needs, develop talent management.
- Play an integral role with business leaders in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the human resource functions, be involved in strategic and planning activities for HR and the business development of policies and process improvements;
- Manage the HR team members to meet the needs of the business. Conduct clear expectations, development plans, and performance review and merit recommendations accordingly.
- Complete monthly management reports to provide analysis of health of the organization from an HR perspective to the business leaders;
Education and Job Knowledge:
- University degree holder in Human Resources or a related field with 15 or more years of experience in consumer goods or complex trade structure situations; Working experience in sales and manufacturing environment will be a plus.
- Progressive experience gained in a multinational or sizeable corporation;
- With a proven track record in high standards of integrity and work ethic;
- Solid exposure in Southern China is highly preferred;
- Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies;
- High level of presence and have proven ability of liaising with people at many different levels;
- Strong leadership and people management skills, a hands-on working approach, excellent communication and presentation skills as well as creative are the keys to success in this role;
- Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and English.
