Key Accountabilities:
? ？ Leading a team of Quality Engineers focused on the development of new consumer electronic products with primary responsibility being the creation and management of reliability, test, measurement and inspection plans.
? ？ Responsible for the creation and management of all quality and process control plans including Product Quality Plan (PQP), IQC, IPQC and OQC plans.
? ？ Develop and implement industry leading quality inspection tools and industry leading measuring methods.
? ？ Support the operations and engineering teams in the development phase of new products.
? ？ Coordinate the implementation and management of reliability testing plans.
? ？ Interface with internal departments, suppliers and clients to ensure proper definition of quality expectations and test/measurement techniques.
? ？ Independently manage the quality escalation process for projects in development.
? ？ Be responsible for the development of detailed reports detailing the results of validation and qualification tests & reviews of procedures and protocols.
? ？ Be responsible for all test and measurement equipment research for new projects, along with the definition and qualification of equipment for all projects under development.
Key Skills and Experience:
? ？ Bachelors Degree in Process Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent.
? ？ 8+ years experience in a quality engineering role in a consumer products development and/or manufacturing environment & 5+ years experience in a quality engineering management role.
? ？ Excellent knowledge of quality techniques and experience using tools such as DOE, SPC, FMEA, and six-sigma techniques.
? ？ Strong verbal & written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
? ？ Experience with best in class test, measurement and inspection equipment
? ？ Experience and knowledge of consumer electronics test engineering and reliability engineering.
? ？ Working knowledge of measurement systems such as Gage R&R.
? ？ Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and creative problem solving skills are a must for the role
