职位描述
1 Business Development Manager
Location: Shenzhen
Reporting to: Head - GSR
Staff Responsibility: 6 direct report staff and total 14 business development team members
2 General Description
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market
Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with Company vision and values
Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area
3 Specific Accountabilities
? Handle all corporate accounts’ matters and customer enquiries
? Increase new business and maintain corporate account customers
? Handle all routing orders promptly and ensure they are presented to the customer immediately. Keep the R/O originator well-informed of the status.
? Ensure all RFQ (request for quotation), bids and tenders are replied to within the time specified
? Update the selling tariff to ensure margins are protected as instructed
? Arrange joint calls and customer visits with Sales, operation, management personnel, as well as the overseas counterparts
? Maintain up-to-date customer profiles
? Provide monthly report on all corporate account business development and related market intelligence
? Insures that all team members meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
? Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
? Sets examples for team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
? Conducts regular coaching and counseling with team members to build motivation and selling skills.
? Perform any special duties or projects as assigned by the management.
4 Skills Required
? Knowledge of International Trade and relevant Laws, Regulations, Process and Procedures
? Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
5 Experience and Qualifications
? University graduated or above
? Minimum 4 years sales experience in foreign freight company, among which minimum 2 years management experience in Sales/Key Account
