ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN RECRUITING PROFESSIONALS IN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING AND OPERATION MANAGEMENT FOR LEADING EUROPEAN AND AMERICAN EMPLOYERS IN CHINA
Client:
A Leading Foreign Automotive Supplier
Salary:
Competitive Package (depending on qualification and experience)

Reporting to:
Plant Manager
Responsibilities:
+ Provides environmental, health, safety, and security leadership to the plant operation
+ Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative leadership to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and MESH requirements
+ Chooses fiscally and socially responsible methods and processes of managing natural resources and waste
+ Continuously identifies, assesses, and reduces/eliminates EHS risk (including security)
+ Continuously deploys methods of reducing the environmental footprint
+ Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of mutual concern including voluntary certification, maintenance of environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data
+ Provides for timely EHS training of employees, Encourages employees’ involvement in EHS activities
+ Investigates incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective action plans
+ Plans to deal with emergency situations that could adversely impact the environment, employees, or the community
+ Primary communicator of EHS messages to employees and management
Requirements:
+ Bachelor degree or above, environment engineering relative is preferred
+ Minimum 7 years working experience in EHS field
+ Familiar with Quality and EHS management system
+ Familiar with EHS related laws and regulations
+ Good command of both spoken and written English
