ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN RECRUITING PROFESSIONALS IN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING AND OPERATION MANAGEMENT FOR LEADING EUROPEAN AND AMERICAN EMPLOYERS IN CHINA.

Our client is a leading German Automotive Supplier Manufacturing Transmission Components
Salary:
Competitive Package (depending on qualification and experience)
Starting Date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Suzhou
Reporting to:
Plant Manager
Responsibilities:
+ Develop, implement and continuously improve work processes to ensure orderly and efficient manufacturing operations to meet operational performance targets
+ Work with manufacturing process engineers to improve throughput, reduce scrap, gain productivity and eliminate waste
+ Coordinate Quality Control to address production quality issues discovered during internal inspection and from customer complaints
+ Ensure adequate plant maintenance in place to avoid unplanned production disruption
+ Conduct regular capacity reviews against the demand and propose capacity expansion plans as part of the company’s strategic planning
+ Ensure adequate Health and Safety procedures implemented and in compliance with the company’s policies and government regulations
+ Foster a cooperative, engaging, and motivated team work environment. Recruit and develop high caliber staff and make necessary succession plans
+ Perform other jobs as assigned by the senior management
Requirements:
+ University or above Degree in engineering or related
+ Minimum 8 years of working experience in Automotive industry in similar functions
+ 3 years of management experience is required
+ Good understanding of manufacturing engineering and production process improvement
+ Demonstrated good analytical and problem-solving skills, project leader and a quick learner
+ Excellent writing and presentation skills and a good communicator to the staff as well as to senior management
+ Fluency in English and Mandarin both in writing and speaking is a must
