Essential Function / Job Summary:
The accountabilities of the Service Manager/Director will encompass the following:
? Manage and control the daily operations of the Service Department
? Responsible to lead a team of about 10 staff to drive the cost effectiveness and operational efficiency to build the standardized platform to provide service supporting in China
? Assign engineers' working schedule of installation and commissioning for new machines in China, monitor and evaluate performance and to over achieve agreed targets by improving procedures and infrastructure
? Maintain the current customers, ensure customers receive professional, best quality service with timely response and operational support
? Maintain the warranty period of the machines against the warranty liabilities in contract
? Develop the potential customers in service fields
? Understand the business needs, implement continuous improvement programs that aim at improving customer satisfaction and operational deliverable
? Promote the business of spare parts and services in China
? Provide coaching and development to build the team competence
? Work closely with the internal functions for providing reliability solution to improve services, and manufacture new product spare parts
? Coordinate with headquarter
Required Qualifications:
? Higher Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
? A minimum of 10 years working experience in machinery industry while minimum 5 years at a managerial level in service field of large multi-national company
? A combination of customer services, sales and operations experience is preferred
? Native Chinese with good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
? Frequently travel in China, occasionally travel to Europe.

? Strong goal-oriented, well organized and dependable
? Good interpersonal, consultative, communication, presentation, leadership and planning skills
? Customer focused with good sense of urgency. Prompt execution and problem solving skills
? Ability to be convincing presenter and has power to lead negotiations well
? Capability to manage complex projects
