依工特种材料（苏州）有限公司为ITW集团在中国的投资的第45家公司，在吴江经济开发区投资的第3家企业。公司将于2014年竣工，主要从事电子化学品、表面活性剂等特种材料。

Job Specifications

Critical Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, major in Chemical Engineering or MIE
- Basic knowledge of Chinese chemical industry engineering compliance & regulations
- Familiarity with MIE system include regulations and installation operation
- Familiarity with chemical process plant environment and expertise in an engineering area
- Basic knowledge of chemical plant unit operation
Critical Skills
- Good Communication Skills including English, spoken and written.
- Basic coordination and training skills
- Flexibility and adaptability with leadership particularly in coaching and standards
- Ability to work within a multicultural environment using teamwork.
Critical Experience
- 1-3 years in plant engineering in a chemical plant environment, MIE project experience is preferred
- Experience in work organization and technical trouble-shooting
- Good quality sense with deep knowledge of installation

Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist Engineering Manager and PM to follow up with project execution plan and strategy
- Assist Engineering Manager to coordinate with the multi-functional design team in order to engineer the defined packages in line with the business and project targets leveraging resources through the CDI,liaison with China design institutes to develop conceptual,preliminary and detail design
- Work as one of team member to participate in qualification, bidding, and negotiation process for technical terms and conditions with suppliers and contractors
- Specify and monitor the implementation of appropriate standards of engineering for all aspects of the project design, installation and commissioning to ensure that the finished product is fit for its purpose
- Assist Engineering Manager to follow up on the specification, fabrication and timely delivery of locally sourced equipment and materials
Monitor project progress and initiate corrective action when appropriate to meet the project time, cost and quality targets
- Work as one of team member in the construction site in terms of safety, ensure the existence and adherence to safe working procedures at all project stages to protect the safety of all personnel engaged or affected by the project HS&E
- Contribute to the development of technology and techniques to improve the overall performance of the asset, and the organization
- Communicate information within the engineering team and maintain project documentation systems
- Assist on facility & equipment pre–start, commission and start-up Responsible for production SOP issue and site operator training for future operation
