职位描述

Position Title: Segment Market Manager

Responsibility:

Ownership of entire product line life cycle from planning to retirement. Define product strategy and roadmap. Identify target markets, key benefits, value proposition, pricing, branding, key customer and channel strategy for products.
Deliver Product Requirement with prioritized features and corresponding business justification. Work with Engineering to define product release milestone and schedule. Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
Owner of pricing strategy and price setting for all products within responsible market segments in China. Assist Pricing Specialist to develop and maintain respective price lists.
Responsible for margin performance of all products within responsible segments selling in target and strategic markets.
Assist Marketing Director to work in collaboration with sales and management teams on special price approval.
Work closely with VC business units to analyze market drivers, customer needs and buying behaviors, competitive landscape in China and develop to go to market strategies.
Identify new business opportunities and coordinate with Global Business, Application Development and Product Line, addressing the size of the opportunity and timing to capture the value.

Develop portfolio of market opportunities related to key segments with effective analysis of product mix to match customer needs and recommend a plan to capture the opportunities.

Work closely with sales & finance department to assist marketing director to develop a complete business plan for specific market segment/sector.

Develop and implement execution and action plan (GDP) for each segment

Assist Marking Communications Function to create, develop and implement marketing activities in support of core messaging and value proposition for responsible market segments.
Support Business Development to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, business development, and corporate strategy initiatives. Assist in performing market research, conduct competitive analysis, and evaluate business opportunities in accordance with long term strategy.
Assist sales to identify suitable channel partner candidates especially in the new growth region and market segment
Guide customer relation matrix to map out differentiated approaches to serve and meet current and future customer needs by development activities and special trade events.

Leads and Supports Internal and External Promotional efforts (sales campaigns, customer visits/seminars, support literature, newsletters)
Alignment to global business unit initiatives
Meeting sales budget annually and control expense budget
Showing year on year sales growth
Provide leadership within assigned region for sales channel development, organizational designs, sales planning, training, promotional activities, and personnel motivation
Market Strategy and Execution
Customer and Competitor Analysis
Market Development Activities e.g. seminars, exhibitions
Marketing of product portfolio for served market segments together with Sales
Management of existing product portfolio
Standardization; Optimize existing products & accessories, product launches and project implementation
Training, support, Documentation, Pricing
Business Intelligence
Sales and Margin follow up, Market Share, Competitor analysis, Market development

Requirements:
A) Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience)
Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical / Process Engineer, with Business Administration and Marketing qualifications
Must have minimum 6-8 years experience in related area
Good command of English (CET 6) and must be skillful in MS office, Power Point & MS Exchange

Displayed business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
Uncompromised customer focus and willingness to listen to and understand both internal and external customers
