Responsibility:

when we receive costs back from our suppliers, they can check them and advise if appropriatethere would be occasions where we would require them to go back to the manufacturer to ensure that it would be satisfactory in the UK and look at reducing the costs and spend time prototyping products and evaluating labour time liaise with Engineering and Procurement for project level pricing of equipment & materials

Development & control of the Capital Cost Estimating Execution plan for the project

Evaluate the machine rate with the support of plant for metal quotation study and keep it yearly update.

closely cooperate with your suppliers and internal project managers

Key Attributes:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Experience:3 years+

Technical or shopfitting background, experience of costing metal and wood is plus

Would be required to check manufactures costings including labour and machine time. this would be mainly on metal products, but knowledge of wood production would be beneficial

Must have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to breakdown the manufacturing process.

Be able to write in English, but English speaking in addition is preferable but not essential.
