Accountabilities:
1. Assess, Identify & develop potential capable suppliers for various products (i.e. kitchen or garment care products of small home appliances)
2. Work with suppliers in developing costing structure
3. Quote and negotiate tooling and component pricing
4. Work with project teams & developing products & components with world class cost
5. Work with Suppliers and Quality Engineers in developing Product Quality Plan, Capacity/Lead Time Plan & Ramp-up plan to ensure smooth bulk production and continuous Quality DPMO reduction
6. Work with suppliers, quality, project management, marketing and engineering team to develop the products
7. Work with Suppliers and Supply Chain coordinators to ensure service level, payment term improvement & Lead Time reduction
8. Drive annual productivity through value engineering improvement, process improvement & negotiations
9. Manage the Supplier Relationship
10.Keep up Suppliers’ scorecard
11.Sourcing new suppliers for different categories in small home appliance industry in kitchen products,


Experience:
Small home appliance industry for kitchen or garment care category
8 years of experience in engineering & merchandising

Functional Skills/Knowledge
1. Knowledge/Experience of metal, plastic products, small home appliances related manufacturing process
2. Good knowledge of supply chain & 6 Sigma tool is definitely a plus
3. Strong command of the spoken / written English
4. Presentation skills
5. Excellent communication, Interpersonal & effective negotiation skills
6. Teamwork orientated, self-motivated & able to work Independently
7. Strong supplier quality, project management & mechanical & electrical engineering background
8. High work ethic and attitude
9. Hardworking and flexible working time

Education/Certifications/Affiliations
? Undergraduate or above of mechanical & Electronic engineering
