1．PURPOSE目的

The main contribution of this position is to work with EMS/ODM suppliers for continuous manufacturing process improvement during mass production phase so that the manufacturing process can be further optimized for productivity and quality improvement, also feedback the experiences & suggestions from mass production for DFM improvement in new product design.

3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责

- Responsible for continual improvement on manufacturing process of EMS/ODM suppliers from MS3 onwards, like productivity improvement, line balance improvement, assembly jig/fixture improvement etc.
- Responsible for releasing copied lines of sustaining projects at EMS supplier site
- Support manufacturing process setup of transferred project between suppliers
- Collect mass production experiences about easy manufacturing from EMS/ODM suppliers as inputs (White Paper) for DFM in the new product design
- Support regular EMS/ODM supplier audit as a process engineer
- 1st level failure analysis of product and/or process at assigned EMS/ODM suppliers with SQE
- Process capability improvement at EMS/ODM suppliers site, like SPC, MSA
- Work closely with NPI process engineering team for new projects at EMS/ODM supplier side, like supporting actions follow-up & sample run arrangement
- Support other improvement project at EMS/ODM supplier as process engineer, like lean manufacturing project etc.

6、JOB REQUIREMENTS岗位要求

Bachelor in Industrial engineering, mechanical engineering etc. Technical background is a preferable.
3-5 years experiences in Industrial engineering, manufacturing process engineering of consumer electronic product, focusing on final assembly (box build) area; PCBA and testing experience is a plus.
Have some experiences about designing assembly jigs/fixtures & manufacturing process of mechanical components, like the injection molding etc.
Solid knowledge of production quality system, process Improvement tools, and control plans
Good trouble shooting skills
Hands on & can take initiative and ownership to drive for results
Good communication skills, especially with EMS/ODM suppliers.
Fluent in English and Mandarin
