Overall Function:

Lead, supervise and support the mills' nutritionists or formulators in the optimization of feed formulation and production of aquaculture feeds, in particular fishes and shrimps, and design feeding programs that meet the species and breed specific nutritional needs, technical and economic objectives of customers and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

l. Updating nutritional matters with particular emphasis on raw material matrixes, feed specifications and feeding programs for aquaculture.

2. Oversee the mills' aquaculture feed formulation to meet market requirements and operational goals.

3.Ensure conformance of aquaculture feed quality control and assurance policies.

4.Conduct audits on implementation and effectiveness of aquaculture feed quality assurance policies.

5.Advise and assist on subjects related to purchasing matters (e.g. provide shadow prices, cost savings analysis, etc) for the production of aquaculture feeds.

6. Provide technical assistance to external and internal customers on aquaculture nutritional matters.

7.Training of sales staff on product knowledge and usage of aquaculture feed.

8. Engage in product and feeding program development for aquaculture.

9. Oversee and ensure that aquaculture trials in research farm and field are conducted as required and report on final results and conclusions.

10. Assist in the improvement of processing efficiency and technology of the aquaculture feed production.

l1. Ensure that data in the formulation software are updated as required and conform to instructions and guidelines.

l2. Identify and propose cost savings and cost benefits measures in areas related to formulation, raw material usage and aquaculture feed production.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Science in an Aqua related discipline or Aquaculture Nutrition;

2.Degree holder of Science in an Aqua related discipline or Aquaculture Nutrition with extensive hands on experience in formulating aquaculture diets will also be considered;

3. Min 5 years working experience in feed industry or farms formulating aquaculture feeds preferably fish feeds;

4. Good communication and organizational skills and the ability to interact with colleagues and customers;

5.Ability to communicate in oral and written Chinese, preferably in English as well;

6.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

7.Willing to travel.
