Acts as a Senior Lead Software Architect and System Engineer in a state-of-the-art, real time Linux based embedded telecom/datacom/networking test equipment development environment. Be responsible for taking Marketing Requirement Document (MRD) and Functional Specifications to develop high level system requirements, software system architecture And frame work, task breakdowns, flowcharts, module/task interfaces, BSP and driver requirements as well as baseline setup and development environment. Be responsible for feasibility study and processing performance analysis and study. Be responsible for defining module level requirements and SW/HW/FPGA architecture, performance analysis and system requirements as well as integration and verification strategy and plans. Be able to work with hardware engineers during prototype/system test and Debug in order to identify and resolve system performance related issues. Be able to determine version control, software release, manufacturing and customer support strategy and plans.



Qualification:
1. BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Experiences with track records with multi-national telecom/datacom equipment manufacturers.
3. Ability to lead a team of software engineers in R&D environment.
4. Self motivated, innovative, effective communicator; strong ability to meet deadlines and schedules.
5. Deep understanding in microprocessor based real time, embedded operating system.
6. Understand various design and implementation approaches with respective pros and cons.
7. 10+ years experience in real time imbedded system design and development with hands-on real ime OS experience.
8. Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese including writing reports and presentations.
9. Must have good people skills and willing to work with others.
10. Must be willing to take a written test, submit background records and job related references.
11. Experiences with Linux RTOS used in communications equipment.
12. Experiences with setting up development environment and tools.
13. C/C++ and object-oriented real time design and programming.
14. Microprocessor-based (such as PowerPC and StrongArm) real time system design and programming.
15. Hands-on experience with real time development enfironment and debug tools.
16. Hands-on experience in driver development for integrated circuits and electronic modules.
17. Hands-on experience with I/O drivers interfacing with hardware, A/D, D/A and other IO drivers/devices.
18. Familiar with driver interface and API.
19. Familiar with ITU, RFC and IEEE standards.
20. Experiences with TCP/IPv4/IPv6 and Ethernet protocols.
21. Understanding Java-based software development.
22. Experience with GUI development and XML.
23. Experiences with network management development.
24. Experiences with system performance analysis and memory management.
25. Hands-on experience with software version control tools.
26. Fluent and affective in both written and oral English communication.
