Objectives

To manage product safety specification & requirement execution (application & maintenance) to meet Evolution Lighting & customer objectives in cost, quality and services. Our major market is North America & Canada.

To provide professional services in reviewing & checking of product samples & participate in application & follow up for the key International Safety standard in Lighting Industry such as UL, ETL & Energy Star.

To review product samples to ensure the quality, specification is meeting customer’s testing protocol before submitted to third party lab.

Job Description / Job Responsibilities

Report to Engineering Manager

To ensure all product samples to be reviewed and checked before passing to the third party lab. Prefer working experience with ITS, BV, SGS & CTL.

To help to reduce the total cycle time required for new product development especially on safety application & product testing.

To deal with third party agency for various international safety requirement application – UL, ETL Energy Star……

To handle all process & maintain full files documentation of individual safety association.

To assist factories to response to VN or special issues raised during the third party safety inspection

To perform other duties as required

按要求执行其他职责

Application Qualifications

University degree or equivalent in product engineering or higher

At least 5 years of product safety engineering experience, lighting, UL or other safety association experience is a must

Familiar with product QA processes and testing protocols to ensure robust product specification adherence

Relevant manufacturing process background to trouble-shoot processes and propose efficiency improvements

Superior interpersonal, communication and project management skill

Initiative, self-organized, good learning skill, independent and self-motivated

Self-directed, able to manage complex issues and multi-task among projects with minimum supervision

Good at written and spoken English

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office and CAD applications
