Job Title: China Financial Controller

Location: Gongdong 东莞

Description:

· Ensure that proper internal controls and financial disclosure are delivered in compliance with all regulatory and audit standards consistent with US and Local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).

· Foster an environment of accountability and professionalism and mentor team members, especially in Accounting, to provide fiscal stewardship while managing accounting, reporting, and planning cycles.

· Oversee budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with GM Nameplate Inc. strategic plan and monitor progress and present operational metrics.

· Engage DLT members to align financial management with short- and long-term financial planning, projections and affiliate finance departments around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model and operational delivery.

· Collaborate with Corporate staff and tax experts and audit teams in the development of appropriate global tax strategies and preparation of relevant tax return filings as well as with various audit efforts for external reporting and internal reports as required.

· Ensure that the company’s internal controls and governance processes are sufficient to mitigate all significant risks.

· Ensure that accounting staff maintains financial recording systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and monitor the use of all funds.

· Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and KPIs; oversee the preparation and communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

· Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.

· Collaborate across departments to reduce costs through improved financial management.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 8 years of working experience within finance Function and solid understanding on Western Management and Manufacturing Environment.

· University degree majoring in Accounting/finance.

· Proven financial related experience such as treasury, project management, cash management, SAP project, tax etc.

· Very strong skills in communication (both English and Chinese).
