Merchandiser ( the representative of The Wheat Group Inc.)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with the USA office and vendors/China production teams, from conception of product to delivery of goods and any client complaints follow up. Fully responsible for all the issues of the brand the jobholder is following. This involves but is not limited to:
Product sourcing process
Product development /Costing,
Quality /commercialization / Order confirmation
Communication
Minimum eligibility requirements:
minimum of 5 to 8 years experiences working with major international brands in the product
development area (better to be in the Bags/Golf/Sport category )
Technical knowledge and experience ( construction, materials, components etc) of accessories area (mainly for backpacks/ bags/ luggages/caps/wallets/belt/etc), from development to production.
Knowledge of accessories testing and standards.
Knowledge of accessories development timelines.
Experience of China manufacturers
Fully conversant with process control / QA/ QC and final inspection procedures
Fluent in English and Chinese, able to communicate with overseas designers and vendors smoothly.
able to follow through development process on his/her own
Self-disciplined with good organisation skills.
