Main Responsibilities for Production Quality Manager (PQM)

Team leader of the production quality teams: Technicians, QA, QC.

Be a good role model/an H&M leader and work on building the team to be a top performing quality (QA, QC, Technician team).

Initiate and organize education and support in identified areas of weakness when needed.

Ensure reasonable workload and secure back-up during the teams’ holidays, travelling etc.

Ensure the team follows H&M quality requirements and use common tools and methods.

Ensure QA, Technicians and QC cooperates to secure good overlapping sampling into production and foresee potential risks in early stages in mass production

Organize and lead the QA (Quality Assurance) team to be able to secure all products meets our requirements re physical, chemical, and color standard.

Ensure that, internal Lab has relevant and maintained equipment for testing Home products

Identify and manage quality projects and investigations.

COOPERATION WITH OTHER TEAMS

Ensure all Home team is kept updated about new standards, requirement & restrictions.

Ensure best final product through good cooperation between the Merchandising and Quality team.

Set general quality goals aligned with product strategy together with sourcing, PM and MM.

Evaluate the suppliers’ performance with, PM and MM and agree action plan.

Evaluate current quality problems/stopped order with PM, and how to avoid in future.

Share problems with rest of the teams to improve and learn from our mistakes.

Cooperate with CAM to secure, right product to right supplier in terms of suppliers capability.

COOPERATION WITH H&M SUPPLIERS

Good knowledge of H&M suppliers’ production set-up and quality performance level.

Keep supplier base updated about new routines and current general quality issues.

Drive supplier base to have a competent quality organization, to take full responsibility over their quality and find good technical solutions

Encourage supplier to secure good cooperation between sample room and production.

Support suppliers on current problems and possible ways to solve and avoid them.

COOPERATION WITH SE QUALITY TEAM

Ensure and maintain good understanding, cooperation and teamwork between PO and BO Home Dept, Quality teams.

Maintain close dialogue regarding routines, testing methods and equipment for existing and new products & markets.

Keep Quality dept. at SEBO updated about current quality developments and future goal of PO

Cooperate in quality investigations/project for common problems.

COOPERATION WITH EXTERNAL PARTIES

Monitor the performance, lead time and price of our external labs.

Keep dialog with other potential partner labs.

Communicate with chemical companies and other external contacts necessary to solve problems. E.g. IKEA, NGOs.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degrees or above in Industrial or Chemical Engineering or similar

5+ experiences in both Home textile and hard goods Quality systems

Should be familiar with the process like solder/paint/spray ,etc.

Good English in both communication and writing

Honest and have strong responsibility

Helicopter ability & Problem solving skills.
