职位描述
The Supply Chain Planner position is a key role within our strategic plan for the Supply Chain. An enthusiastic self starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels,
managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global Supply Chain.
The Supply Chain (SC) Planner will be responsible for the strategic and tactical planning of the supply chain for a specific set of products within our portfolio. The SC Planner will act as an owner of finished goods inventories, will monitor and drive the RM plans at our contract manufactures, and will be responsible for both Inventory and on-time shipping for their product segments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop demand plans and communicate with CM partners
? Work with manufacturing locations to properly prioritize production plans
? Determine and coordinate with Manufacturing the requirement for and availability of raw product to support the production plans
? Monitor adherence to plan, and work with CM's to resolve any issues that arise
? Identify periods when it may be necessary to buy supplemental product or place a product on allocation, and facilitate
? Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management
? Identify and execute opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency.
? Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets)
? Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future
? Proactively facilitating, re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional experts (Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, and IT)
? Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.
? Ability to lead cross-functionally
? Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory
? Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory
Develop and execute performance improvement plans
? Responsible for inventory reduction programs (internal and at our CM partners
? Improvement of inventory turnover and asset velocity
? Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
? Provide necessary reports and analysis needed to enable the S&OP process.
? Attend and contribute to monthly S&OP cycles
Perform periodic responsibilities
? Drive Inventory Reduction Team to cost-effectively reduce surplus inventory levels
? Work closely with Marketing to proactively manage the new product introduction process
? Perform production capacity planning studies.
SKILLS
? English and Chinese Language - verbal and written fluency
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE (Minimum)
? BA/BS in Industrial Engineering, or Business or Logistics Management or equivalent experience/training.
? APICS certification preferred
? 3-5 years of experience
? Strong systems and analytical skills
