THE POSITION AND ROLE
? Reports directly to the DSS Supervisor, located in the Netherlands, who reports to International GM.
? Carries responsibility for distributor support functions and performances for ASIAN.
? Will be the bridge to drive the service level higher in ASIAN region by coordinating between various departments and distributors.
? Will keep all processes moving smoothly within the service functions of ASIAN region.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Will work together with DSS Supervisor to oversee all services within ASIAN region, including but not limited to the following key areas:
? Daily coordination with distributors, internal colleagues, supervisors, and executives to help with respective needs to support distributors.
? Quick, accurate and thorough communication between necessary parties
? Coordination between internal departments (purchasing/procurement, allocations, US team, China DC, sales, merchandizing, product dept. etc) and distributors to acquire and relay requested info between necessary parties.
? Arranging, analyzing, preparing and reviewing proforma invoices to send to distributors. Also following up with distributors on outstanding payment requests or invoices
? Updating payment request log to keep track of outbound requests, inbound payments, and prepayment request details.
? Coordinating release (hold/packing) requests with finance and allocation/IT depending on pre-pack approval and payments received.
? Order entry for samples, production order, & orders to drop ship from factory as necessary.
? Running reports using Oracle, Triniti, or excel spreadsheets and sending to distributors, sales, internal colleagues, or for review and research analysis purpose.
? Coordination to update orders and working with appropriate departments to make sure all updates are done smoothly and in ordinance.
? Assisting issues that distributors encounter using B2B (business to business website) by pointing them to the right direction by researching or getting them in touch with appropriate personnel that can help fix the issues encountered.
? May require conference calls outside of standard work hours on an occasional basis.
? Other job duties related to distributor support service will be added depending on the need and capability.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Education and qualifications
? University preferred.
? Fluency in written and spoken English a must. Fluent in Chinese is a Preference.
? 2 to 5 years of customer service experience requested, sporting goods industry experience preferred.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup functions, etc), Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word. 1 year plus experience in Oracle systems will be a big plus.
? Must be a team player, be able to cooperate and work with others effectively.
? Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
