JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, implementation and achievement of Beats strategic goals, business revenue, profit and market share goals as they relate to retail, e-tail and direct to consumer within China for the accounts identified.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Develop sales strategies, develop business plan, forecast, anticipate sales requirements, determine productivity results
? Build up and manage the local sales team to cope with business growth
? Drive growth through optimizing current business while identifying/closing new business and market opportunities to obtain short and long term growth and profitability objectives
? Responsible for development and delivery of business plan that defines short and long term objectives
? Liaise with the local distribution sales channels on product strategy, sales plans and on opportunities to improve and grow business
? Manage and report performance analysis and forecasting

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate will form key relationships and strong communication rhythms with:
? Global Executive Vice President of Sales and President and COO at Beats
? Director of Global Sales and Channel Strategies
? Beats Product Managers
? Retail Executives and Buyers
? International Distributors and Sales Representatives
? Supply Chain and Demand Planning at Retailers, Distributors and Beats
? The entire Beats Marketing Team

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor Degree required
? Fluent English & Mandarin
? Over 5 years’ related experience with proven track record in the Consumer Electronics industry
? Excellent overall business skills, strong negotiating and relationship management skills
? Strong relationships and sales experience in the channel
? Ability to work effectively and collaborative with all business partners including Senior Level Executives and industry partners
? High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with superior organizational logistics, and time management skills
? Excellent leadership skills to recruit and manage the sales team
? Ability to travel extensively throughout the region

COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
? Mastery of Mac OS and Windows applications.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
? Adheres to all requirements for confidentiality of corporate, finance and R&D information.
? Adheres to direction from management on distribution controls, secure filing and disposal, records retention and storage for drawings, contracts and other sensitive materials.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; may stand for lengthy periods at events; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
