JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

1-Understand the QA and manufacturing processes within the factory.
2-Establish a technical and business rapport with the vendor’s production team and staff.
3-Execute daily in-line and final inspections in accordance with WSI procedures.
4-Perform daily in-line tests in accordance with WSI procedures.
4-Provide daily quality control reports.
5-Keep his/her lead QA well informed of any potential issues that will affect quality or delivery.

- Learn to solve production quality problems.
- Support any data analysis and process improvements implemented by higher management.
- Perform daily tasks as assign by their immediate superior.
- Cross check production loading and schedule plans.
- Responsible for taking with proper care of any assigned testing and inspections tools..
- Responsible to return testing tooling/equipment to immediate superior at the end of working shift.
- Participate in QC training programs in order to upgrade their basic furniture knowledge.
- Able to perform require tasks and provide required reports to Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
- Learn the major wood species / general glue specification/Board Requirements and MC controls.
- Learn to perform WSI ISTA in-house drop testing.
- Insure all report data is accurate.
- Be prepared to work longer hours with short notice on special occasions.



JOB HOLDER’S COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

Basic Skills required:

- Computer literate.
- Understand digital photography.
- Understand furniture quality control processes and systems.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings with skills in Auto Cad.
- Able to understand fundamental finishing issues and root cause.
- At least 2-5 years experience in a furniture manufacturing quality control or production management role.
- Understands the basic furniture manufacturing processes.
- Able to handle the testing and inspection tools provided.


General Skills Required
- Effective communication & report writing skills in Vietnamese and basic English. Able to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
- Good attitude and excellent character.
- Good interpersonal skill.
- Good Initiative, able to work under high pressure working environment
- Prepare to work longer hour in short notice.
- Able to operate computer.
- Able to read CAD.
- Self starter, good initiative, responsible person.
