POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is one of the world’s leading “Project Specialists” with their own project offices in all the major industrial and development centers of the world.
They have successfully performed transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance and related services for some of the most demanding projects undertaken in the world, some of which have been in the Petrochemical and other related key-industries as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Mining, Steel and others.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
50% of time leading sales time to development business in China.
30% of time Operating the business project
20% of time managing and coaching team member.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for providing strategic leadership in developing the Project Logistics sector throughout Beijing/Tianjin and the greater Northern China regions.
2. Responsible for achieving strong market growth through the development and delivery of leading edge and commercially viable logistics solution.
3. Develop and implement a strategic business plan for achieving revenue growth in line with the regional & corporate objectives;
4. Develop, manage and restructure the branch operations
5. Managing all branch operations including sales and marketing, admin and finance and operations.
6. Responsible for driving market growth and ensuring operational excellence;
7. Develop a target account list and work proactively to assist the sales team to develop and secure customers
8. Provide overall leadership, direction and management of the operation and business development efforts;
9. Develop a high performance sales culture.
10. Aggressively recruit, train, develop, coach, and appraise individuals to achieve agreed upon objectives to exceed the business goals;
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience in executive management and operations of general freight forwarding business (Import / Export) and related project freight forwarding incl. ocean & land transportation for heavy Lift & oversize cargo for at least 5 to 10 years;
2. Experience in dealing with Foreign and Chinese persons and companies, related to the “Project Field” ;
3. Familiar with Microsoft Office, e-mail programs and fluent in English;
4. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure;
5. Work independent, pro-active and self-motivated.
6. Education min: Bachelor of Logistics or Bachelor of International Business.
